There's apparently some software called Audio DVD Creator that can burn DVD-Video format audio DVDs. The point is that one can play such DVDs on any consumer electronics player rather than requiring special support as is the case with Super Audio CD or DVD-Audio. According to the website, the software can cram 6 hours of CD audio (PCM data) on one DVD-R. Audio DVD Creator sells for $40 via their website.
