Apparently this has already made it to the Hitachi website, which was somewhat unexpected. There's no official press release, although there's now a link to the 7K500 product page. This is the successor to the 7K400, weighing in at 500 gigabytes. I've been working on this too, hence my surprise at an announcement. That's all I can say for now....
